Look for DL1EFD to be active from Aruba (SA-036) and the Netherlands
Antilles (SA-006) as follows: November 11th to 17th as P4/DL1EFD; November
18th to 22nd as PJ4/DL1EFD/p; November 23rd to 24th as PJ4W (CQWW-CW

11/11/2002: Johan, PA3EXX, reports that he will operate as VK4WWI from

11/12/2002: Bob, WA4OAB, will be operating as FO/WA4OAB from the island of
Moorea Island (OC-046, DIFO FO-010) between November 12th and 13th. This is
a vacation with the XYL and with a bunch of non-Ham friends, so he will try
his best to stick to the schedule below: 22:00 UTC - 10 meters CW - 28050
kHz (will also be calling FISTS), SSB - 28450 kHz; 15 meters CW - 21050 kHz
(will also be calling FISTS), SSB - 21325 kHz; 20 meters CW - 14050 kHz
(will also be calling FISTS), SSB - 14245 kHz. Activity will depend on
conditions as to which band, and he will try to stay awake for 20 meters at

11/12/2002: Frank, FK8HC, will be active from Wallis Island (OC-054, DIFO
FW-001) between November 12th and 18th. Callsign still unknown at this time
(FW8??). Operation will be on 40 through 10 meters, 100w and a vertical

11/12/2002: Vincenzo, IT9NVA/p, plans to be active the morning of November
12th from the Cozzo Spadaro Lighthouse (WAIL SI-012). QSL via home call,

11/12/2002: Operators Don, K2KQ, George, N2GA, Ann, WA1S, and John, KT0F,
plan to mount a 4-operator, 4-radio Multi-Multi operation at J3A during the
CQWW CW Contest. The group will mount the usual pre-contest operations. Ann,
WA1S, will be on the air as either J3/WA1S or J38AA starting around November
12th. She will be on both SSB and CW. Don K2KQ, will be on the air as J37ZA
after November 20th and John KT0F will be on as J3/KT0F. They will make an
effort to activate the WARC bands, but currently have no plans for RTTY or
digital modes. Don, K2KQ, states, "As a group, we are interested in
activiating J3 on EME, but not this time. I'd be interested in an expression
of interest, and if there's enough, we'll make an effort next time." [tnx

11/13/2002: Jean-Louis, FK/F5NHJ, will be active November 13th to 16th from
Ile des Pins (OC-032). A side trip to either Mare and/or Lifou (OC-033) is
being planned for his last week in New Caledonia. He will be returning to

11/13/2002: JA0SC will be active between November 13th and 18th as VK9LI
from Lord Howe Island (OC-004). He plans to operate on 15 and 20 metres SSTV
(21343 and 14233 kHz +/- QRM) and RTTY (21080 and 14080 kHz +/- QRM). QSL

11/14/2002: Phil, G3SWH, expects to be active as 5R8HA from Nosy Komba
(IOTA AF-057) between November 14th and 19th. This will, as usual, be a
holiday type operation with activity limited to when he is able to get on
the air, but he will try to be as active as possible on all bands 40-10
meters, CW only. QSL via G3SWH, either direct with SASE and return postage

11/15/2002: George/VE3NZ, Nick/VE3EY and Lali/VE3NE are planning an
operation (HF and 6 metres CW, SSB and RTTY) from Sable Island (NA-063)
between November 15 and 26, 2002, CQ WW CW DX Contest included. They will
use the call CY0MM. The DXpedition will take place only if the group can
raise enough funds by 15 October. Please visit their web page at

11/16/2002: Team Vertical will head back to Jamaica (NA-097) November 16th
to 26th. Operators include K2KW, KE7X, N6BT, N6XG, W6FOG, W6NS and W7CB.
While the main goal will be QRP single band entries in the CQ WW CW Contest
(November 23-24), this will be a well-rounded DXpedition covering many bands
and modes. In the contest, look for 6Y9A to be activated by Walter, N6XG, on
15m QRP; 6Y2A to be activated by Fredrick, KE7X, on 20m QRP; 6Y4A to be
activated by Ken, K2KW, on 40m QRP; 6Y8A to be activated by Tom, N6BT, on
80m QRP and 6Y0A to be activated by Larry, W7CB, on 160m QRP. Outside the
contest, operators will sign homecall/6Y5, and activity will be on 160-6
meters, the WARC bands, and the Satellites. Most modes will be covered: CW,
SSB, RTTY, and some PSK31. There will be a dedicated 6m station (W6NS/6Y5 w/
breakable beacon on 50.101) and 2 dedicated satellite stations (W6FOG/6Y5)
on AO-7, AO-27, AO-40, FO-20, FO-29, and UO-14. QSL all QSOs via WA4WTG. QSL

11/16/2002: George, K5KG, and John, W4IX, will be active (on 10-160 metres
mainly CW) as J75KG (QSL via KU9C) and J79JRC (QSL via W4IX) from Dominica
(NA-101) between November 16th and 26th, including an entry in the CQWW-CW

11/16/2002: Goran, SM0CMH, will be active (on 40-10 metres mainly CW,
possibly on 80 and 160 metres as well) as SV5/SM8C from the Dodecanese
(EU-001) between November 16th and 29th, including and entry in the CQ WW-CW

11/17/2002: Juergen, DL8LE, will be active November 17th to December 3rd,
from the Maldives (AS-013). Operation will be on 80 through 10 meters mainly

11/17/2002: Frank, DH5JG, will be operating from the Island of Lanzarote in
the Canary Islands (AF-004, DIE S-007), as EA8/DH5JG/p between November 17th
and 29th. Activity will be CW with some SSB on 40-10 meters including the
WARC bands. Frank will also participate in the CQWW-CW Contest (November

11/17/2002: Dan, N9XX, will be active as ZF2RR from the Cayman Islands

11/18/2002: Bill, W7TVF (5W0VF), will go back to Apia, Samoa (OC-097) from
November 18 to December 9, 2002. He plans to be active on all bands, 6
metres included (beacon at 50.104 MHz), and will try to also operate some
RTTY and PSK31. Those who need 5W on a particular band or mode can e-mail

11/18/2002: Takeshi, JI3DST, will be active between 06:00 UTC November 18th
to 00:00 UTC November 21st as JI3DST/6 from Okinawa Island (AS-017,
Okinawa-ken, not fix QTH [JCC or JCG]). Operation will be on 40, 17, 15, 12,

11/19/2002: Ron, K0NEO/p, plans to be active November 19th from Held's
Island (USI MO-New one), Gasconade County, Missouri. Start time will be
approximately 06:00 UTC. Operation will be on 20 meters, usual IOTA /
Islands frequency. They will also be operating 6 and 2 meters to take

11/19/2002: Paul, K1XM, and Charlotte, KQ1F, will be active as S9MX from
Principe (AF-044) between November 19th and 27th. They may operate from Sao
Tome from November 28th through December 1st. Activity will include the CQWW

11/19/2002: Tosy JA6VZB and Seiji JH6RTO will be active November 19th to
27th from Palau (OC-009). Tosy's main activity will be during the CQWW-CW
Contest, while Seiji will concentrate on 6 meters. The callsigns are T88JA

11/20/2002: Richard, K2WR, is expected to be active from the Isle of Jersey
(EU-013) as MJ0AWR between November 20th and 25th. However, during the

11/22/2002: Look for Tack/KA8A(7M4KRX), Nori/AA9WZ(JA1OZK) and Hide/KC9AJS
(7N4FTL) to be active from Guam Island (OC-026) for the CQWW-CW Contest.
They will use the callsign K2G during their activity from November 22nd to
26th. Outside of the contest, K2G will be on the air for SSB and the WARC
