[Dxbase] WSJT-X new MODE FT8 in version 1.8.0-rc1 - Joe WA6AXE

 Just saw in the newest The ARRL Letter for July 13, 2017  that:

A beta release of WSJT-X, version 1.8.0-rc1, includes a new FT8 mode, featuring a faster turnaround.

Since this new FT8 mode is in the WSJT-X program - I downloaded the ver 1.8.0-rc1 to see
if everything would be the same as before - so that we could use my WSJT-X BRIDGE ver 1.4.
Sure enough!!  GOOD TO GO!!

If you want to use this FT8 mode from within WSJT-X program -- and you want to log FT8
modes into DXbase2007 --  BE SURE to go into DXbase2007 and go into 
Main Menu/ Tools/Database Access/Digital Mode Names... 
and ADD the mode  FT8.  

I have been successful in using my WSJT-X BRIDGE ver 1.4 to auto-log the QSOs.
