This posted on the dxcc field checkers mail reflector this morning. To the DXCC card checking community: The published information about Midway and Kure Islands is true and correct. The DXCC country count will be reduced by 2 entities. The DXCC entities list and LoTW will be updated and DXCC scores will be tabulated to reflect the changes. I apologize for any confusion. This callsign will default to France(F) because of the Alias Map table mapping. This callsign is not currently MAPPED in the CALLMAP table -- so, if you want, simply make a dummy QSO with this callsign and change the PREFIX column of your logbook mdb file to FJ and then when the pop-up asks you if you want to save this TO2SP mapped to FJ -- say YES/OK ---- Then delete that dummy QSO .. The CALLMAP table will now be updated in advance so that if you work this station -- it will have the correct PREFIX in your logbook QSO window ... 73 Joe WA6AXE Joseph Glockner wa6axe at verizon.net
