I did not find it on your navycthistory page......I'd like to experiment with an autologger for DXB2007. Where can I find your program? What I do currently is take the WSJT-X adi file and import it into DXBase, but a one-step process sure would be nice. 73, Walt, AJ6T On 8/22/2016 8:33 AM, Joseph Glockner wrote: > > I am curious - has any DXbase2007 user used my WSJT-X ver 1.4 BRIDGE > and had total success with the BRIDGE? > > > Also - if you have NOT had success with my BRIDGE - I would like to > hear from you also. > > > Tnx guys!! > > > 73 Joe wa6axe > > > > > > > Joseph Glockner > wa6axe at verizon.net > > ______________________________________________________________ > Dxbase mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:Dxbase at mailman.qth.net > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > From wa6axe at verizon.net Mon Aug 22 19:53:39 2016 From: wa6axe at verizon.net (Joseph Glockner) Date: Mon, 22 Aug 2016 19:53:39 -0400 Subject: [Dxbase] Joe wa6axe - WSJT-X BRIDGE -- Screen-shot of LOG Window and mdb file within Access97 Message-ID: <156b4ac7ff2-7d2d-43d@webprd-m03.mail.aol.com> Merv and ALL: I logged a DUMMY QSO using DXbase2007 ver 1.10 / My WSJT-X ver 1.4 BRIDGE / and WSJT-X ver 1.7 program. Then I took screen-shots of both my LOG WINDOW within DXbase2007 - and - also I took that MDB logbook file into Access97 and got more screen-shots. The UPPER portion of the below listed jpg file shows my LOG Window -- you will see that the RSTS and RSTR columns are BLANK (Normal for the way DXbase2007 is currently programmed) -- BUT, you will also see that my BRIDGE program automatically places both the RSTS and RSTR reports into the Notes column of the logbook mdb file -- and also automatically places the RSTS into the Special-1 column and places the RSTR into the Special-2 column. The LOWER portion of the below listed jpg file show the ONE DUMMY ENTRY as it looks when viewing my mdb file within ACCESS97 ... You CAN see that the RSTS entry shows the true signal report of " -12 " and that the RSTR entry also shows the true signal report of " -10 " ... These are strictly DUMMY REPORTS.. And you can also see in the lower portion screen-shots that Notes field shows RSTS -12 RSTR -10 -- and -- you can also see the REPORTS in the Special-1 and Special-2 fields. Hope this is helpful to all .. Reason I want to ask THIS Question - in this manner - is that the only users who CAN NOT run my WSJT-X BRIDGE ver 1.4 -- are in EUROPE .. There might well be something that Windows (operating under the NATIVE language of the user) in EUROPE have different than the Windows 10 64bit that we are running here in the USA... I DO NOT KNOW for sure guys - this is only a GUESS on my part.. If there IS someone in EUROPE who is running Windows under their NATIVE LANGUAGE - and WHO CAN run all ok my WSJT-X BRIDGE ver 1.4 -- I sure would like to email with you!!!!!!! For European Users of DXbase2007 and my BRIDGES Message-ID: <156c352fa6d-1276-5fae@webprd-a102.mail.aol.com> ALL: SORRY to say - but -- I have now come up empty - without any solution to the European Users of DXbase2007 (running Windows 10 64bit) - who are trying to use my WSJT-X BRIDGE .. It simply can not be done -- and, the bummer is - I have no idea what is different between my Windows 10 64bit computer - as compared to a European Windows 10 64 bit computer!!!!! I just finished a TeamViewer session with Knut (LA9RY) - and TRIED every trick that I know works on my computer - only to come up dry!!!! ALSO - since my WSJT-X Bridge can not work on European Windows 10 64bit computers -- as it looks to the USERS directory to find the adi file that I am using to make the BRIDGE (Automatic entry) to DXbase2007 -- THEN the FLDIGI BRIDGE that I made probably will NOT work on those users computers either -- as it also uses a file found on the USERS directory... Just wanted to pass this info along! 73 Joe wa6axe Joseph Glockner wa6axe at verizon.net From nd4x at hotmail.com Fri Aug 26 10:49:58 2016 From: nd4x at hotmail.com (Paul Smith) Date: Fri, 26 Aug 2016 14:49:58 +0000 Subject: [Dxbase] !! This callsign will default to France(F) because of the Alias Map table mapping. This callsign is not currently MAPPED in the CALLMAP table -- so, if you want, simply make a dummy QSO with this callsign and change the PREFIX column of your logbook mdb file to FP and then when the pop-up asks you if you want to save this TO5FP mapped to FP -- say YES/OK ---- Then delete that dummy QSO .. The CALLMAP table will now be updated in advance so that if you work this station -- it will have the correct PREFIX in your logbook QSO window ... 73 Joe WA6AXE Joseph Glockner wa6axe at verizon.net From wa6axe at verizon.net Fri Aug 26 18:09:22 2016 From: wa6axe at verizon.net (Joseph Glockner) Date: Fri, 26 Aug 2016 18:09:22 -0400 Subject: [Dxbase] Heads-up on WSJT-X BRIDGE Message-ID: <156c8e67863-2031-9a93@webprd-a87.mail.aol.com> ALL: I have made a new version of the WSJT-X BRIDGE -- and I have sent it to two DXbase2007 users who are in Europe..
