[Dxbase] Windows 10 and usb serial ports

 Tom,

My Windows 10 Laptop - connected to an   "FTDI" USB RS-232 Serial Adapter works
ALL OK/PERFECTLY...  When I saw your email - I KNEW that I had checked my
"FTDI" Adapter on my Windows 7/32 bit machine - but, your email prompted me
to TRY my adapter on my recently upgraded Windows 10/64 bit LAPTOP....

FYI Tom- In just about ALL cases - a  PROLIFIC adapter will NOT WORK... You
might look into changing over to an  "FTDI" chipset ADAPTER..   MINE is working nicely!!
