[Dxbase] Omni VII DXbase 2007 interface settings?

Just connecting up new Omni VII radio to DXbase 2007. Have  comport set OK 
I believe as the program will change mode after about 4 seconds,  but ONLY 
the mode when importing a cluster spot.  I do have the Omni VII  radio.ini 
and the radio menu shows the Omni VII which is selected.
 
Here are the settings I'm using (I can find nothing in the O7  manual 
regarding settings).
 
Checked on: Connect HF Radio 1 Serial interface
Com 3  as designated by USB/Serial driver software and  shown in device mgr
Baud 57600
Parity None
Word length 8
Stop Bits 2
 
DTR High RTS High and CTS all left unchecked.
 
I've seen this very slow response on other radios when  settings were not 
correct but I have no guidance on this radio for  settings.
