[Dxbase] DX Clusters?

I looked briefly at the VE7CC online instructions yesterday. Very impressive and extensive. Glad to hear it will talk to DXb.  Do you leave the VE7CC program running along side DXb?  Will DXb access it as if it were the node?

I use VE7CC packet program and it will talk to DXbase2007.  You can set what
ever filters you want.

I am wondering which is the preferred DX Cluster to use for DXbase?After
getting v1.10 installed and running I set the cluster to Neil's K3NC.
Is there any way to filter out the DX reports from stations on other
continents?
