[Dxbase] 2 radios..

So I bought another cat cable for my ProIII as I just purchased a new to me IC-7600. 
How come I cant go to radio 2 in DxBase and get radio 2 to qsy on a spot. I can do the set frequency and retrieve frequency from radio 2 and it all works but it doesnt seem to want to qsy on a spot. It does change the frequency of radio 1 even when trying to work with radio 2 ? what am I missing here..
