I have a friend that his proiii is doing the same thing. It will qsy on an internet spot and if you log that spot from the spot window its ok. If you log manually a contact then look at the radio data ie band and frequency its wrong. I suspect the cat cable from the computer to the rig. He is bringing his cable over tomorrow and i will try it on my rig

Hi all, 
Within the last two days my copy of DX Base 1.10 has been unable to read 
frequency and mode data from the radio (by way of Microham's Router 
software). I have tried every combination of RTS, DTR and CTS and nothing's 
worked. The com port is set correctly as are the baudrate and all other 
settings. Nothing changed anywhere (either in Router or DX Base), but this 
has just stopped. I *CAN* command the radio from DX Base by clicking on a 
spot-I just can't poll the radio. It's not a problem on the Router end, as 
N1MM and DX Lab Suite are both operating fine. It's definitely a DX Base 
problem but I have NO idea where to start troubleshooting here. Any 
thoughts?
