[Dxbase] Running Dbase 2007 on Windows 7 Professional needs help

I recently acquired a new computer and am now running Windows 7 Professional.

I have DXbase 2007 up and running and could use help in making it fully functional with the following issues.

1.  Getting the radio (icom 756 pro) to talk with the program.

2.  Finding how to aim to the location of HamCall to update that info in the program.

If I can't solve these problems I will have to consider abandoning the DXbase world for something else.
