Joe and others,
I would hesitate to lay the blame at the feet of Yahoo.
The spam actually came from the account of a reflector member who either was a
"sleeper" or had his own personal computer hijacked.
Neal has removed the member from the reflector. Problem solved.
Now back to griping about the lack of sunspots. :-)
