[Dxbase] Mode default

Normally, when I enter a call sign in the log, tab to the report field
the report defaults to the expected format based upon the last qso.
When you tab to the mode, it also defaults to the last qso.

When I right click on the internet cluster window and choose "log the
current entry" all of the log fields are populated as would be
expected, report, mode ect. I except the defaults and log the
contact. Every thing goes just like it is supposed too.

Now when I change modes and log a contact on a different band and mode,
DxBase defaults to the same thing as the prior contact as one would
expect. I change the report, mode and band manually and save the
contact and every thing looks fine.

Then when I log another contact on that same mode and band, instead of
defaulting to the last qso (the one that I manually chanted) it goes
back to the contact that I logged using the right click from the
internet cluster. It will not change that default until I exit DxBase
and reload it.

This is not a big problem, just a curious anomaly. Perhaps there is
another way to get it to default rather then close the program. Does any
one have an idea?

I am running DxBase 2007 V1.0 with an XP machine with 2 GB of ram and a
2gh Pentium processor. Any one have ideas? Or maybe this is something
to fix on the next major release.
