[Dxbase] QSL card template with multiple QSOs

All I had to do to solve my problem printing cards with more than one QSO
was to state the number of QSOs per card in the window that appears when
requesting user designed labels.
Now I can print cards as I wanted to.

Joe, WA6AXE told me this secret:
Quote:
The secret is yjay when you call for a QSO Label .. you MUST tell it that
you WANT 3 QSOs per label ..
That is placed in the popup window just before you select the label file
NAME .. IF you are wanting to make
a 3 QSO label == call for 3 qsos per label AND then make sure that you
select an already made
3 qso label file

LBL file contains all of the instructions of the layout etc etc
LBP file is the printer instructions
LBV file is the sample view of the label

Joe
Unquote.
I might upload my design to the yahoo files area.

Knut, I too am using DXB2007 so that should not be the issue. I removed the
.LBV and .LBP files from my computer as an experiment and the labels still
printed. Then I tried to read the .LBP file using notepad and my printer was
named in it, so my guess is that those 2 files are meant for my setup. Try
either deleting them or renaming them and see what happens. As for the last
error message, it may have something to do with permissions. You can right
click on the .LBL file and choose properties at the bottom, then left click
on the securities tab. In the top box (Group or user names:) you should find
yourself listed as the user. Then left click on Edit, then left click on
Users, and put checks in all the boxes. What you are doing is giving
yourself all rights to use that file. Let me know how it works. By the way,
what version are you using? Mine is the latest, V1.09.

Jim

Thanks Jim.
I have put your files into my label folder, but they will not work.
Numerous error messages:
Password protected or has invalid format
Printer definition file bad or defective.
The projekct file can not be opened. Either you don't have enough network
rights or the project is being edited at the moment.

It this about the .lbp and .lbv files?
I use Dxbase 2007. Is that an issue?

I will keep on trying. This should work some way.

Knut, I have templates for 3 and 4 QSO's per label. The label I am using is
Avery 8860 or 5160, both 1 inch high and 2 5/8 inches wide. I use 2007 v1.09
but they should work on your version. Since they are such small files I am
attaching them now. I am not sure what the .lbp and .lbv files do, so they
are included also. Put all of them in your Label folder within DXB2007 and
you should be good to go.

Good luck,
Jim, KJ3L

I want to make a QSL card template with multiple QSOs.
Have found some old templates distributed with the software, but I can’t
get them work.
Making QSL cards with one QSO works ok, but when it comes to QSO number 2
and expressions like
DATE1, TIME1, MODE1 appears, it causes syntax errors.
I think there was someone who made a lot of templates, but that might have
been before this version. I use 2007 ver 1.05.
I would appreciate a template file to find out how to do this (if possible).
