I too am a long time user of DXBase, dating back to the late 90's.
When I thought
it was going away, I tried some of the other logging programs,
including spending
almost a year trying to get DXLab to work the way I wanted it to.

I was very happy to see DXBase purchased and upgraded to 2007 almost
immediately.
I look forward to V10 WHEN (not IF) it comes out.

Keep the faith,

I have said before that all dxb2007 customers will be licensed for v10 and will still uphold that when AND IF it comes out.” I capitalized four words in that quote for emphasis. It is, as far as I know, the first and only time that Neal alluded to the possibility that there may never be a next version of DXbase.

Over the past few years I have tested a few other logging softwares, including two attempts to learn to like the often-recommended DXLab, but I came back to DXbase. Nothing can touch it for both ease of use, great award tracking, and great reports (many thanks to Joe).

In the short term, I’m betting it will work with Windows 8 because it looks like it’s the same as Windows 7 when one gets past the new “Metro” interface.
