[Dxbase] My summary window dilemma

I am not a computer expert, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express (tm)
last night.
However, I am still running XP Pro on the radio computer and have done
so with both AMD and Intel processors. In fact, I have done so with
several AMD configurations.
And in each instance with AMD, there came a point in time where I can
only describe the computer as acting "flaky" including the operation of
DXbase. Since switching to an Intel MB and processor, I have had no
such problems.
This is not meant as an indictment of AMD, just my personal observation.
And I was never able to pinpoint why I had the "flaky" behavior.
In any event, I hope you will be able to work it out.
