It has to be added at the end.
just hit the end button and that will quickly get you to the end of the log then add it f10 to save it and watch the right side of the screen and you can see the dates to help you get back where you were. Page up and down helps too.
Thats the only way I know .

Subject: [Dxbase] DXBase Log Entry
I have been a DXBase user since the early 90's (good ole DOS version)
and, for the most part, find that it still meets my need today. Just
wondering if anyone knows of a simple way of adding an old QSO to the
database other that adding it to the last line in the log. I have most
of the QSO's I want in DXBase - having converted many from paper log
years ago - but am still working at adding some others so that my DXB
log matches all of my old paper logs. When doing, I like to scroll back
in my DXB log and compare it with my paper log books and when I find a
new one to add to DXB, the only way I can see how to do it, is to go
back down to the end of the log and make the entry. While this works,
it is inconvenient as I then have to scroll all the way back in my DXB
log where I left off. Would be nice if, under the Record tab, where you
have the options to Delete / Update / Cancel, you would also have the
option to Add - that when clicking, would bring up a log entry window.
In fact, would be nice to have a pop up like this to do all the log
entries without going to the main log window.
If not possible today, maybe Neil will consider when he does the next
version.
