If any DXbase user wants to doublecheck what I was trying to report you can
do the following -- with your CDROM LookUp TURN-ON

(1) Make a dummy entry for the callsign of AH0PT (Alfa Hotel ZERO Papa Tango)
-- once you press the TAB key -- look immediately to the SUMMARY WINDOW and
mark down on a piece of paper the SHORT PATH Bearing and Distance .. now delete
(esc key) this ah0pt qso ...

now go to --

(2) Make a dummy entry for the callsign of AH0D (Alfa Hotel ZERO Delta)
-- once you press the TAB key -- agn look at the Summary window and
again mark down the SHORT PATH Bearing and DIstance ..

Are #1 and #2 the SAME ?? For me -- NO!!!

Anytime that there is a callsign that IS IN THE CDROM LOOKUP, the bearing and
distance (with cdrom turned-on) will NOT be CORRECT ...

Just further FYI

Joe
