[Dxbase] Online DXCC -- bottomline words for now -- Joe wa6axe

ALL DXbase2007 users:

I asked Gavin - who has made a full submission - for his words about his original
adi file that my adi file maker program made for him to import at the online dxcc
website - and - also for his DXCC Record Sheet that was produced by the Online DXCC
website for him to Printout and Take to his Card Checker ..

WELL -- that was very enlightening !!! Gavin sent me his adi file (as my prgm made it) and
also sent me his pdf file showing the FINAL DXCC Record Sheet that was produced by
the online dxcc website .. NO WAY!!! 

Even though the Online DXCC website's own WORDS on the Import ADIF tab states:

QSLs imported from an ADIF file appear on the DXCC
           Record Sheet produced by Online DXCC in the same order as
           in the ADIF file
//end of quote//

That is NOT the case --- the final record sheet that Gavin received  IS NOT in the same order as
the submitted adi file --- 

SO - it is well apparent to me now - that the ARRL online dxcc website has a lot of work to do
to get the software routine for the Import ADIF running correctly (as per their own words)..

I will NOT make the Online DXCC Adi File maker program available again - until we know 
that the Online DXCC website's IMPORT ADIF routine is working as it should ..

Looks like they were simply NOT ready for "Prime Time" ..
