No, not exactly.  Icom added the necessary split commands to their RS232 
interface and that enabled Joe to develop the necessary addition to the INI 
file to take advantage of the new capability offered by Icom.

So yes, after all these years, Icom finally delivered basic functionality 
that's been missing all this time.  Kudos to Joe and those who worked with 
him on this.
