[Dxbase] Hopes for the 7600/7700/7800/9100/and 7410 ICOMs -- Joe wa6axe

Here is where we are at right now ... When we can verify that the Radios.ini file entry
for the listed ICOM rigs is kosher -- and that DXbase CAN detect that the RIG is in the SPLIT 
mode -- then the following ICOM rigs WILL BE ABLE to be set to the QSX Split (properly formatted!!)
and also -- if you type-in the callsign from the keyboard and press the TAB key -- the QSX FREQ
" will "  be placed automatically into the NOTES column ... just like we WANT it!!! Hi!!

The rigs that can be setup for this are:

ICOM IC-7410
ICOM IC-7600
ICOM IC-7700
ICOM IC-7800
ICOM IC-9100


the 7600/7700/and 7800 have had FIRMWARE updates earlier this year that allowed
this to be DONE ALL OK ...

Now -- the other ICOM rigs - like the 7000 -- simply doesn't have any FIRMWARE update
-- so, that rig (like many other ICOM rigs) just can BE SETUP correctly for making
the VFO A and VFO B setup correctly and go into the SPLIT mode ----  BUT, since DXbase
has NO WAY of being told what status of the SPLIT is -- then the  QSX FREQ into the
Notes column WILL NOT be able to be done at all .. sorry guys!!

But - for the newer ICOMS -- we REALLY do have some high hopes ....
