[Dxbase] Callsign.mdb hosed

I have a friend who isn't very much of a computer person who has 
DXBase.  He saved his .mdb file after it was hosed and wrote over a 
good file that would have had most of his 690 QSOs.  I've tried to 
run the repair and everything else I could think of but can not get 
his DXbase to be happy and initialize.  Is there anyone that thinks 
they might be able to repair the file?
