[Dxbase] "No current Record"

Hi Gang,
 
I've been lucky with DXbase 2007 until now. My DXbase  2007 is telling me 
"No Current Record" when I try to Initialize or  close down the program. My 
summary window is void of any recorded contacts.  I do show all my QSOs in 
the QSO log window including the newly added contest  QSOs.
 
What apparently happened is MS automatically updated my  OS over the 
weekend late at night and improperly shut down my DXbase 2007 and  restarted. Not 
realizing this, I did a non-DXB import (adif) of contest data  before 
bringing DXbase 2007 back up. I do have backups of both .mdb files.  I tried 
merging the backup K4YYL.mdb with the one in the 2007 file. That went  nominally 
but still have same problem with no records on summary and the "No  Current 
Record" when trying to initialize. My next step was to merge/import the  
backup refdata.mdb into the program file but I have never had to do this 
before.  Is this done the same way as the QSO mdb files with the same utility? Is 
this  what needs to be done to resolve the "No Current Record" issue? Any 
other  suggestions? I thought about just replacing the existing QSO mdb file 
with the  back up in lieu of merging but haven't done yet. I don't want to 
make a small  issue a big one, hi.
