Steve,

YOU can do the magic -- just simply LOG the QSO -- go to the PREFIX column and
CHANGE the prefix from VK9N to VK9L .. a pop-up window will ask you if you want
to map it to VK9L -- SAY YES ---

The MAGIC is now done ...
