Merle,
For awhile I used Win 7 32 bit for awhile on the computer I use for amateur radio. I did not have any problems with it, the secret being to load it in a folder on the C drive. The reason I went back to XP was the lack of a driver for the EMEU 0202 that would allow me to run both PowerSDR and CW Skimmer at the same time (I think that new drivers are available now).
I also was smart enough not to use the 64 bit version (I guess the 64 bit version has some additional issues). Have not switched back to Win 7 becsuse I have no need to do so. I do have my other computer running Win 7 32 bit and use it for MMTTY and a couple of other programs related to ARES work.

Neil,
I have been reading the "notes of frustration" around DXBase 2007
and Windows 7 for some time. I have gotten to the point that I
really need Windows 7 capabilities for some other activities and
therefore need to migrate my DXBase 2007 system to Windows 7. Is
there a "cannot fail" "step by step" set of instructions that one
can follow to make this change, or is "personal blood" an
absolute requirement? If there is a set of instructions, where
can they be found?
Thanks & Good DX, Merle - W0EWM
Resent to correct format-
