[Dxbase] DXBase and Windows 7 "Pain"

I agree with what you are saying -- not all people will be able to follow 
the step by step instructions because,, like you say,, they want to do 
things just a little different.. My proposal would be starting right from 
scratch -- instructions as to what has to be turned on and what has to be 
turned off before an install can begin.. How to set administrator - whatever 
has to be turned off - has been mentioned a few times - to allow the user to 
make changes.. I mean a person would have to go back and set the computer 
with Win7 to the starting point before installing Dxbase .. I do believe 
that is where a lot of the problems are happening - If the computer does not 
want to let change happen -- it could be a losing battle right from the word 
go...
