ALL: Just heard from one VISTA user who "Ran" my exe program "as Administrator" and all is well now --- so, now, I am OK that my Refdata/Logbook mdb checker program WILL run all ok on XP, VISTA, and Windows7 systems -- all ok! Just FYI to anyone who is having a problem still. Joe wa6axe
