Tom,
Back in May 2011 I sent out an email talking about DM780 -- here is what that
email said ::
//quote//
ALL:
I was trying to see if there was a way to make a BRIDGE for the
HRD5/DM780 program -- NO!!
The HRD4 with DM780 CAN send the BASIC QSO data directly to
DXbase -- and this has been that way for years now -- BUT, when
HRD5 came out, the method by which Simon sets-up the
COMMS to any external program (Like DXbase) is that
DM780 + HRD5 + DXbase have to ALL be active ... So, with this in
mind - I am not going to proceed any further on trying to make a
BRIDGE for HRD5/DM780 to send the BASIC Fields PLUS the EXTRA
ones --
If the DM780 could talk directly to DXbase - without having to have
HRD5 Main program ALSO open -- I would try -- but, this really is
too much --
and, we have so many other programs out there to select from.
Just FYI for any HamRadioDeluve (HRD5) users!

Just FYI Tom.
