Ok I am assuming that the fixes worked and I can download the new version and install it ? I have been really busy here and I didnt follow thru on all the comments. If it works on XP up to Win7 32 bit then I will go ahead and try it .
If there are still issues I will just stay with what I have.
Looks like tomorrow I have time to try the install
Thanks

Pete,

remember that version 1.09 "is STILL in the BETA testing phase" -- in this
phase of the testing you must know that SOME bugs might still remain ...

It just so happens that you download the BIG ZIP from Neal's website -- BEFORE
he posted the FIX for that warning you ran into ...

FYI -- the currently posted ZIP file is FREE of any known BUGS ....

If you still have DXBase2006 on your computer -- Neal's installer WILL ask if
you want to make the ini for 2007 using that info --- in your case (since you
already have 2007 on your computer) -- you say NO ...

If -- before you installed/tried to install ver 1.09 of dxbase2007 -- you went to the
Windows directory and renamed your current dxb2007.ini file to something like

dxb2007OLD.ini

THEN -- the installer would have written a new ini file ....

If you did NOT rename it -- then your old ini file is still sitting there in the Windows
directory..

If you did NOT uninstall the OLD Dxbase2007 program (like ver 1.07 or before) --
YOU HAVE NOT LOST really anything .....

Simply go into your Control PANEL -- and uninstall the current ver 1.09
using the Remove Program icon ....

Remember that you really have NOT lost a thing --- depending on what you
did after you realized that you were into the OOPS situation ...
