[Dxbase] not quite there yet

HI Again   

Thanks again for the replies, I have now got the laptop that started this problem back up & running using none destructive  recovery mode however it removed all my programs that I had installed but left the laptop as it was new with just basic programs by ms installed. 
I have installed dxbase to this pc so I have now  copy on two computers but not imported my mdb files yet to either pc.As mentioned in my last email no hurry to do that.
My dxbase is quite old 2003 but as I am qrt I do not have need to upgrade yet , having said that I will be running windows 7 from tomorrow on my 2nd laptop so Christmas may come early!!.
