[Dxbase] Question

If I know what the last number that has been associated with the last
country according to ARRL's list, would I be able to then assign numbers to
the new countries to get them in my log then change them later if they are
not correct? At this point it is such a pain trying to keep track of what I
worked on what band. Sure I could use excel or something else for the time
being but that's not what I have a logging program for. If it's not possible
then I will do it the hard way but if it is I would like to make it easy on
myself.
