You must use 8,N,1 for Icoms, you will get intermittent errors if you
use 2 stop bits. It doesn't matter what the CI-V address is, as long
as the radio and the .ini file are the same. Every time Icom came
out with a new radio, it incremented the address just so that they
were different, there is no significance to them. Just make sure
that the two are the same and it will be fine. The 706, 706MkII and
706MKIIG all have different default addresses from the factory.
