Im using MMVARI with a home made interface cable .. Im cheap :).. 
I also use MMTTY with a home made interface cable for FSK RTTY.. 
MMTTY interfaces with the N1MM contest logging program nicely also.. 
My rig is an ICOM 756 PROIII and interfacing was fairly easy with out laying out cash for an interface unit. 
The interface cable actually controls both PSK and FSK from the same port on the computer and the same plug on the back of the rig.
