You do not need to run DXBase in the XP virtual mode. I would advise
uninstalling it and then reinstalling right to Windows 7, where, at least on
my 32-bit version, it registers and runs fine.

Subject: [Dxbase] Migrating DXBase 2007 to new Win. 7 Pro problems

I recently bought a new Windows 7 Pro 64bit PC.

I tried to install my 2007 version DXBase on it after installing the
Virtual Pc es XP mode software to run on Windows 7.

Everything seems to install correctly, and I get NO errors, but when I run
my Registration file to register it in the registry, it installs properly,
but when I try and launch DXBase, it tells me I need to register the
software and need to run the Trial.mdb.

I have loaded this same software on 2 other pc's I have, XP PRO, with no
problems
Writelog loads ok as well as other Ham software I use with no problems,
sofar!

Anyone have any ideas on what might be the problem?

Jerry, NX0I
