[Dxbase] Rig Control

I bought the basic interface cable on ebay from a guy over in G land.. If I had to do again id go with his other cable with the audio interface included but I made the audio interfaces myself.. Sometimes im too cheap :).. 
As far as the new version of DxBase? Why not upgrade when it comes out.. Neal is going to have something new we all need im sure :)..

I am looking to purchase an USB to CI-V interface. My radio is an IC-756 Pro II and I am currently using dxBase 2006 but will update when the 2010 version is available. 



I have seen several interfaces on the market. Does anyone have personal experience with any of these and would be willing to make a recommendation or could advise on what to stay away from. 



Is there any reason to wait for the newest version of dxBase?
