[Dxbase] WTF

Ive been in the shack on and off playing around and my puker has been running for a few weeks . I dotn shut it down unless im going to be gone for a week or so.. I worked a station this evening and noticed DxBase has been logging all my qsos for a week and using october 4th 2009 for the date ? 
I just shut dxBase down and restarted it and now its fine ? 
Any Ideas?????????? 
Looks like im out a coupls weeks worth of qsos
