Can both the VE7CC Telnet and VE7CC TNC connections be linked to DXBase at the same time?
If SPOT was compatible with DXBase can SPOT Telnet and SPOT TNC connections
be linked to DXBase at the same time?
If I can remember right DXBase2007 Telnet did not miss a beat and did not drop a call or did it?
2006 did, thats why I linked VE7CC and the problem disappeared and I think thats why other
people did this as well. With 2007 I left VE7CC linked cause I liked its filtering features and
had gotten use to it. DXBase and VE7CC complimented each other very well.
I am not running DXBase 2007 for some time now. I have not kept up with its updates and running
a different logging program. I ran about 10 different logging programs so far. Because of
limited trial version and a couple I just bought I was not impressed with any of their packet
filters and the sort. VE7CC and SPOT are the two best packet programs out there. I ran both and now
all I run is SPOT and the logging packet software I have now. I cannot link SPOT
with the other logging program so they are running independently.
Stay on course, fight a good fight, and keep the faith. Jim K9TF/WA9YSD
