Here are the facts about the cost.

What people have stated is correct.

Here is real out come facts.  Of all the QSOs you made in your life time only about 25 percent will QSL VIa LOTW.  Check out LOTW on this one.  I found that just amazing.  Out of that same total about 10 to 20 percent will send you a Card confirmation.

Looking at the cost per QSL, My guess is that global QSL will not send green stamps or IRC's that some of the DX stations request.  So with that in mind your percentage of return will drop even more.

In stead of looking at how much money you will spend, look at how much money you will waste. A figure out a better way for that money not to go to waste.

The 75 to 85 percent everyone is claiming they get, including me might look to be true but like most programs it does not consider how many time you worked the same station or the same country with different station on the same band.  So the algorithm or what ever they use does not adjust for this.  Please set me straight on this.
