You may want to try a cold boot of the computer. shut sown CPU unplug every thing including power cord. turn on CPU for 15 seconds, start up computer with only mouse monitor and key boar and see what happens.
Also you may ether have a corrupted driver in DXBase or in Windows, or Your CPU video card is going and does not like DXBase or it it is there when DXBase is off and other programs are running.
