[Dxbase] ICOM 7700 Radio.ini file

Hi, Tom -

When I installed my first Icom 7700 I put out a plea for a?radio.ini file for the 7700 to the DXBase and Icom forums?and one person responded to me. I didn't keep his email so I have no idea who he was.

Regardless, I have included with this email to you and the two groups, the file that he sent to me.

You, too, will probably have trouble with getting DXBase to read VFO-B but this will get you started.

After being frustrated with the inability of DXBase to properly handle my radio, I did a little research around the web and found the person that I was looking for, Carl, N4PY.

Carl is a very gifted programmer and has has done a wonderful job of interfacing my two Icom 7700 radios to DXbase.
I would recommend him to you to solve your interfacing problem, as he did mine. His email address is n4py at arrl.net.

I am having difficulty getting DXBase to interface with the IC-7700.? A review of the archives indicated that Paul, NO8D, was having trouble getting DXBase to recognize VFO-B.? So at least one user has successfully interfaced to DXBase.

I thought I had read to use the IC-7800 connection under User Options but no luck in doing so.
