[Dxbase] To be or not to be?

Hi All

Heading up to Dayton 2009 and still no word on Jack doing anything? I personally would at least like Jack to do the right thing by his loyal customers and advise if no further development is going to be done on DXBase. Then decisions could be made as to whether we take the leap to move to a supported product (even though I would very much prefer not to!). Things like LoTW, online logs, eQSL, new modes, integration with other programs etc etc (the list goes on....) that really demands that we continue to have a logbook that is evolving. Changing after all these years is not an easy thing to contemplate but for the reasons I listed it will eventually become a necessity if I (and most electronic loggers) want to keep up. Joe does a fantastic job of trying to keep the DXBase ship afloat but a lone hand cannot save the day. Please Jack...... a simple yes or no is no less than your customers deserve. Thank you.

Cheers....Allan VK2CA
