Some of you may find that you have a need to apply a DXbase 2007
registration to a new machine that runs a 64bit operating system. The
registration that is typically provided to you is based on a 32bit operating
system and as is, does not work on a 64bit machine.

The instructions below describe the simple change that you can make to your
existing 32bit registration in order for it to work on a 64bit machine such
as Vista 64 and the upcoming Win7 64bit operating systems.

Converting a 32bit Registration file to 64bit.

Use notepad to open the registration file that you have for 32 bit.

Replace the following line:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Scientific Solutions\Dxb2007]

With the following line:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Scientific Solutions\Dxb2007]

Save changes to a new filename so that you do not erase your
original 32bit registration.

To apply this new registration, double click the .reg filename.

Regards,
Jack
