I have been a user of DXBase since 3.0 in the early 90s. And I have
supported DXB by upgrading to each new release. In general I have been
pleased with the features, performance and stability. DXBase has now been in
a steady state since for almost 2 years. Are there any plans to continue to
add features and improvements to DXB?
One area where I would like to see improvement is the support for Win-Key. I
use a sw application called C-Typer as it does a better job interfacing to
the Win-Keyer than DXBase does. Is there any chance of seeing improvements
with this interface?
Secondly, I would like to see the capability to use a parallel interface to
provider logic for antenna selection as well as the capability of an output
to indicate which radio is selected. I am not a programmer, but from what I
have heard windows does not make it easy to control the parallel port. It
can be done, others are doing it.
I have looked at most of the other logging programs on the market, and a
couple have all of the features that I am looking for, but also have areas
of the functionality that are less stable than I would like to see.
