[Dxbase] CQ WAZ award (old contacts)

I trying to figure out how many zones I am short for the CQ WAZ award and I 
have found when I compute my "needs" list,  for some reason it is not 
picking up my zone contacts made prior to 1973.

I have no idea why:  I do not think there is a "date cutoff" as there are 
for some ARRL awards.

Any help would be appreciated.
