[Dxbase] Problem with DXBase 2007

All, 

 

I am experinecing some unusual behavior with dxb2007. When I shut it down, it does not end normally and I get the "this program is not responding" message. Then when I start it up again, it gives me the caution message to reinitialize the files as it did not shut down correctly previously, etc. Today, the CW Messages window (only - the other windsows are okay) became resized so small that it cannot be used and I cannot find a way to get it back to its normal size???

 

The only thing I can think of to do is to reinstall, but I am a little hesitant as I do not want to cause any more problems. If I do reinstall, will I face any problems with the registration, and will I need to import my existing .mdb file with the utility? I'd hate to lose anything as there are some 40K+ q's, etc. there.

 

If anyone has any advice, please let me know!
