"<" means 'less than', so the QSO's to be selected are those less than, but 
not including, the date entered.

">" means 'greater than', so the QSO's to be selected are those greater 
than, but not including, the date entered.

In the Selection Wizard /  QSO Filter  what is the meaning of these symbols?

QSO Date <  does this include the QSO's on the date entered or those with a 
date less than  or before the date entered?

QSO Date >  does this include the QSO's on the date entered or those with a 
date greater  than  or after the date entered?
