[Dxbase] Program stops responding

My note below didn't generate any responses.  Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

I have noticed that the database seems to have grown bigger lately.  My 12K
or so QSOs yield a database of about 50MB that goes down to about 9M after I
compact it.  It pretty quickly gets back up to 40-50M, and I don't remember
that to be the case previously.  I did a DB repair too, but that made no
difference to the stability problem.

I recently had to reinstall DXbase (and everything else) after a hard drive
crash.  Since then, I've had several instances of DXbase stopping, so I've
had to kill and restart it.

I don't have any other symptoms, and I haven't noticed any problems with
other programs.

Should I reinstall it over what I have now?  I can first save screenshots of
menus, etc. and the configuration file.  Thanks very much.
