To be more precise, Jack and Firebrick, the message says changes would
create duplicate files... and when I click OK it then starts to list the
callsigns in alphabetical order and this does indicate to me that the file
is corrupt. When I do as you suggest, since I do not have a backup .mdb
file after Feb 10, will I have to type in the "new" QSOs?
And, BTW, thanks for the quick reply.

Alan,
I don't know what you mean when you say, " unable to initialize files"?
What happens?
My guess is that you select the "initialize tables" routine from the main
DXbase menu and you get some kind of a error indication about statistics?
If that is true, then you probably have a corrupted statistics table in your
database .mdb file.
To correct this condition, refer to the help file under the contents tab for
"error messages", "entry not found in numeric statistics". Essentially
you'll be creating a new empty QSO database, then using DXB Import, you'll
import the data from your old .mdb into the newly created one. Afterwards,
you'll use the new one and discard the old one and you'll intialize tables
to get your statistics back.
Regards,
Jack
