[Dxbase] offtopic help request

I keep my ham programs and files on D:/
Nothing but Windows on C:/

I've looked over the various tool and tip sites to no avail.

When you open Windows Explorer, It always open to C:/
For me to view and work on files on D:/ is that I must expand D:/
Click on D:/ and it expands and I can see the files.

So does anyone know of a way, or a add-on applet that will make D:/ open 
fully?
