Eric,
The *.rpt reports are generated using the program
called Seagate Crystal reports (version 7.0) ..
The *.lst reports, as you know, are made using the
built-in List MAKER.
The *.rpt is the more powerful report maker program.
The *.lst IS quite powerful, for the Variables that
are already in the User Designed List Maker.
NOTE Eric: the Seagate Crystal reports program can
be version 7.0, version 8.0, or even up to version 8.5 --
BUT, when you use 8.0 or 8.5 you HAVE TO make very sure
that you save the report under the version 7.0 ..
There is a learning-curve - as with any software.
The Seagate Crystal Reports - can probably be obtained
via EBay.
