Check under Tools/Options/User Options..
On the Log Defaults tab check to make sure the option to Load Band/Mode from
HF Transceiver is checked.
On the Radio 1 tab check to make sure you have the correct Comport
identified as well as the Baudrate, Word Length, Parity and Stop Bits. Mine
is COM2, 19200, 8, NONE and 2. Also make sure you have checked the boxes
for Connect HF Radio 1 Serial Interface and DTR High. That is all there is
to set in DXB itself. You don't say what you are using to make the
connection to the radio, but by chance do you have the Icom CT-17 Level
Converter? The DC power to my CT-17 comes from a switched connection on my
power distribution strip. If I forget to turn it on when I start up DXB the
frequency and mode don't populate until the dummy-in-charge flips the
switch!
